Our Road Trip Home to England
So after packing our stuff we headed off on our journey back to the UK, but not before having some more adventures.............
We made our journey back to the UK over 3 days, spending our first night in Chartres.
After a long day we just had a picnic tea and then a glass of wine in the bar where I meet a lovely 5 month old German Sheppard called Cleo, she was lovely, but she nearly pulled her mum and dad's table over playing with me. Oops!

We meet up the next morning before we both continued our journeys home, Cleo to Germany and me to England.
Here we are saying our goodbyes.
Having a cuddle
A kiss!
Cleo, doesn't want me to leave, she gives me one last hug before we say goodbye!
Then Grandad, Mum and I head off to Bruges in Belgium.
Mummy, as always, picked us a beautiful hotel which was next to the canal. I felt very grand staying in a room over two floors and Grandad had a room fit for a king.
The Hotel Jan Brito is situated in the centre of Bruges, 200 meters from the Market Square. The 16th century manor house was the home of noble families for generations before being converted into a hotel.
This was mine and mummy's room.
"Mum! What's that?"
"It's an old fashioned phone Dotty."
"But Mum, what's that lead doing, why can't I move around with it?"
The door to our room lead us straight out in to the lovely hotel gardens.
And at the end of the road, the canal.
The canals were very beautiful. I could've stayed for hours just watching the boats go up and down.
Then we hit the Market Square!
Wow! What an explosion of activity.
"Mum, look at that big dog!"
"Look another one! Can I go play?"
Grandad! You need to practice your selfie photo technique! Where am I !?
There are I am, but where's mum and it's all gone blurry!
What a lovely place Bruge is!
Phew! It's hard work all this walking.
Time for a rest and apertifs.
Here's Mum and Grandad being tourists!
And me, I got to make new friends!
I didn't find out their names, but they came from Norway and loved to play and give me kisses
Then after a bit more walking, Mum and Grandad returned to the same resturant for dinner.
Mussels and Chips!
And I found myself some more friends!
Everyone was very friendly in Bruges and wanted to have cuddles with me!
This is Joanna!
And this is Anthony!
Then we saw a hot air balloon by the cathedral just as it was getting dark
Then off to do some shopping!
Can you believe these are all made of chocolate!
And finally to bed and sleep, sleep, before returning to England the next day.
