My Road Trip to Ramsholt
My Auntie Sandie found a website about Darcy, a dog who goes on trips around Suffolk, so we decided to follow some of those journeys.
Most Saturday's we go for a road trip and this weekend it was to Ramsholt, to have a beautiful walk along the Estuary, through forests, and of course ending up in the local Pub!
Here's a little bit of history around Ramsholt which is a small village in Suffolk. It's situated on the northern shore of the River Deben.

The parish church of All Saints is one of 38 existing round - tower churches in Suffolk and is a grade II listed building.
The village economy revolves around the pub which is right next to the river dock.
The walk we did that day took us about 2 hours.
And with any good Estuary walk, I always start with a paddle
The walk along the Estuary is very beautiful
And you can see for miles around
Oh! And there's a forest too. I really liked that
Mum! Have we really walked that far. Isn't that the Estuary in the distance?!
And isn't that the church we saw when we were walking along the Estuary?
It's very beautiful
And there is so much open space. I feel like I'm the only pup in the world
Muuuuuuuummmmmm! That's the church and the Estuary in the distance!
Don't forget I've only got little legs!
What a lovely village, but only 3 houses
Yay! And more forest for me to play in
And the best view ever............
Back to where we started
And of course lunch!
Mmmm, what shall I have to eat?
And a nice view whilst I'm eating
Let's just stay a little longer and enjoy the view
All that food and relaxing I need to go for another paddle.
Coming Mum?!
Well it's time to say goodbye to Ramsholt. We'll be back soon!
