My First Night in France

It was all a bit daunting at first going to another Country, but my mum found a really nice hotel in Lumbres for us to stay in by the river, so it eased me in to life in France.
  
Today, was also my special dad's birthday.

My mum took me for a nice stroll around the grounds, it was very peaceful and had some lovely views and gardens






But I needed to check out the room to see that it met my needs....

Yep! Place for me to write my postcards

And mummy is really happy.........


Time to check the bed out

    Dotty's Mum here - It was a real find, and definitely a return visit will be planned, perhaps for a long weekend to explore the surrounding area. It would've been his 60th Birthday, so definitely raised a glass to him, it felt like he was with us celebrating too :-)

Now I'm not one to cast aspersions, but I'd say that my friend Pippa is the true meaning of gluttony! She eats all my treats!  And I'm not exaggerating! It's My Birthday!

And the day just got better and better.  Aunty Sandie came to see me with not one but two presents :-) Mmm!  Wonder what it can be? Oh and a treat as well, that's a nice surprise.  But what is it!
